7 Months : To Down The Aisle

As I am comfortably sitting on my Eames chair in my pjs at 1000pm tonight, I'm finally able to blog about our long overdue wedding-plan-progress which I have been meaning to write about for the past two weeks. As many had warn me that planning a wedding can be handful and can be dramatically stressful. I experienced it first-hand and it lasted the entire week which I didn't know until I was so overwhelmed when I broke down in tears for several times in A WEEK! It felt like nothing was progressing and non was achieved. I found myself pushing it, don't get me wrong, I do this is because I like to check off as much to-do list before the dates get closer, in that way we could minimize the magnitude of chaos. Reality check we can't control all things and everything. Mr. D and I are both juggling our 8-5 day job. I can't stress enough that the "BRIDE-to-be" and the "GROOM-to-be"should always try to communicate-communicate-communicate. That way the load are evenly distributed (not really.. hehe some). Lucky enough for me, my hero came to the rescue. Gave me a surprise bouquet, You BET I was smiling again. Flowers makes the world all bright again, they say. He manage to calm me down in his own way, and tell We Are In This Together.

To-do's and Goals for this Month

- Book an Officiant (brought forward to this month because we still couldn't decide)

- Book entertainment

- Purchase THE dress

- Block Hotel Rooms 

- Book photographer and videographer 

- Purchase invitations

- Plan our honeymoon

- Compose Timeline

So, to wrap it all up with a bow: I've been googling on invitation designs, gifts for my M(s)OH, and little details about the decors. So excited, still am not gonna reveal all and wait to the day itself.

8 Months : Hint of Gold & All Things White

Today marks exactly 8 months until our wedding. I spent the entire month working out the theme, decor and researching for inspiration. I also spent hours talking to my maids of honor (Yeap! you got that right! I bump all my ladies with honor) about all the dream wedding. Its almost there, but can't reveal everything until the day. Now here are some bits and pieces of inspiration that I have put together for the wedding. I still need all the help I could possibly gather in making my dream wedding a reality, do let me know your thoughts.

• I learnt this from a very good friend of mine. "March isnt a lot of time unless it's your full time job to plan a wedding, which it isn't". So start talking to alot of people and gather their experience of what is possible and what is the impossible-possible.
