9 Months Before: Wrap-up

This Month: It started out with droplets of rain and shakes, progressively it became wetter and cooler each day passed, which makes me looking forward to this weekend. In other words full time into planning the wedding.

These beautiful moments were captured by Cliff Choong
It was taken during my baby sister's wedding in 2014.

A week after my fiance and I announce our engagement to our family and friends, both of us started to receive overwhelming wave of information of to-dos and must-dos for our wedding. We got so confused about where to start and how to start. So we took a step back and start doing our own research. Work out a timeline and here we are with Nine Months Before our Big Day.

To-do's and Goals for this Week
-Start a wedding folder
-Work out the budget
-Build wedding party
-Settle on a head count
-Hire a planner, if desired
-Book the date and venues
-Book the officiant
-Book the photographers for engagement
-Research wedding day photographers, bands, florists, and caterers
-Insert vendor contact information into a master contact list
-Throw engagement party
-Research for wedding registration procedures
-Prep for "possible" renovation for Newly Weds Love Nest!

Note:
One thing all bride-to-be must know about Kota Kinabalu, wedding venues are quite limited, either they do not allow early bookings even with deposit, some caterers are not flexible with dinner menu, and because it is so limited in supply the place is booked through August 2016, or it is just crazy expensive. So I suggest to those of you that are planning to wed, do plan ahead.
• Wedding ain't cheap!

P/s: if any of you have any ideas or pointers, please do leave me a message below. I love to hear from you..
